Product Tips
For most people with mature locs, washing every 1-2 weeks (or 7-10 days) is ideal for scalp health and buildup prevention. Active individuals or those with oily scalps may need to wash weekly, while others with dry scalp or mature locs might prefer every 3-4 weeks. Below is our pdf guide to washing your locs.
When to Wash
Generally, you should retwist your locs every 4 to 6 weeks for beginners and every 6 to 8 weeks for mature locs. While monthly retwists are common, stretching the time between sessions (even up to 3 months) keeps hair healthier by avoiding excessive tension.
